History of Charlier & Fils

Charlier & Fils offers a rarity that is now unique in Champagne by keeping their entire range in large capacity barrels, called “foudres de chêne”. This method is used for the entire production, whereas the great houses reserve it for the elaboration of exceptional vintages. With a minimum ageing period of 8 months, and several years for the reserve wines and champagne spirits, the oak cask gives its letters of nobility and elegance to Champagne. Member of the Club Trésors de Champagne since 1972.
